While the next seven months will see eager anticipation among fans, our appetite for Halo 5 has already been whetted, thanks to the latest trailers for the same. The Xbox team at Microsoft tweeted the date along with a new hash tag #HUNTtheTRUTH. An abnormally high number of retweets followed, given that this franchise alone has raked in $3.38 billion for Microsoft. While the world awaits the arrival of Master Chief, live teasers for the game were greatly appreciated after they premiered on AMC last Sunday. The first of these two trailers reveals Spartan Locke talking to wounded Chief about his duty towards human kind. We see only as much as Locke raising the gun to Master Chief when the trailer wraps up. As a puzzler, the second trailer reveals the exact same situation except that the two characters swap places and roles. Cleverly designed as a run up to unveil the truth about Locke and Chief, the trailer will remain a buzz in the gaming world over the next few months. Bonnie Ross, the Head at 343 Industries says that the maker “wanted Halo 5 to be a game, which would pay off the epic promise of the Halo universe” in terms of drama and scale. He further adds, “We want to amaze players with the size of the worlds they experience, as they question everything they thought they knew about its heroes, marvels and mysteries.”
