The artificial intelligence firm Deep Mind was founded by 37-year-old neuroscientist and former teenage chess prodigy Demis Hassabis accompanied by Shane Legg and Mustafa Suleyman. Deep Mind specializes in machine learning E-commerce and algorithms. Though the purchase price was reported by Tech website Re/code, Google has not yet confirmed the same. Portals such as Facebook, Google and Yahoo have been focusing on increasing artificial intelligence as an innovative source of business. Google has been developing self-driving cars and robots and it also announced its partnership with NASA in initiation of the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab. The Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab has been designed to improve aeronautical science and space exploration by using complex mathematical formulas and supercomputers. Google also brought military robot-maker Boston Dynamics, for a price that is not yet revealed, earlier this year. The engineering team consists of futurist, inventor and entrepreneur Ray Kurzweil for machine learning and processing of knowledge. With this new venture, Google is sure to make a new foothold in the technological world.
